Cricket, controversies, glamour and that omph fact, the Indian Premiere League extravaganza finally closed its curtains for season II. As the curtains fell down on Sunday night, it gathered new fans. The finals were exhilarating!! The best was definately reserved for the LAST...the jam packed stadium singed to the tunes of Deccan Chargers and even the cheerleaders could not resist to break a leg.
So, as it came, conquered and stole the hearts of many new fanatics, but off note it created a lot of new gossips to talk about. The most popular among them was the blog started by fake IPL player who claimed himself to be a part of Kolkata Knight Riders. He came out with the promise to bring out the masala mar ke news of the cricketers. Truly, he lived upto the expectations of the people. Each morning, the first thing I used to do was to turn to the sports page of my favorite newspaper and read what new development has taken place. I am sure many people like me too got hooked his write-up.
Now that the IPL season II has finally come to an end and cricket fanatics, who welcomed the game with open hearts, have a new reason to cheer. This is because the ICC world Cup T 20 is right on the bloc. Also, much praise came from the new cricket fanatics who were naive about the bat n ball rules, I am confident that post IPL these people will be equally reluctant as I to to watch the bonanza filled T 20 World Cup.Probably this time too India maintains the last years action to hold the trophy with itself.

Well..IPL is just money and glamour..and not much cricket. And that is the reason players risk playing and getting an injury in a bid to earn money.
If a player has a nagging injury..shouldn't he be taking rest..but no!!! you see all the Sehwags and Flintoffs getting injured and have to sit out of World cup just to earn money.
i know that IPL is about glamour but not all of it...People don't really spend their money totally to watch some hot girls dance to pub music...If they are emptying their pockets, its becoz they expect the players to perform well...but its also correct that the injured sportsmen should not have been included in the squad. This is b'cz neither the player likes the fact of missing out on the game not a spectator...I guess this year probably the selectors have learnt a lesson...Kudozzz to those who did well with a aim to see better cricket next season!
