When terror struck Mumbai....

After the bombings in Mumbai, things have become more frightening for the people in India. the rush in the malls have started decreasing on roads after eight in the evening. The same was witnessed by the people on the new year's eve. Things have been different since that strike for me as well as many other Indians. The fear of loosing our life is haunting us all the time. As I step out of my house each day in the morning, I pray to god that nothing go wrong (as in no terror strikes, plane crashes etc.) in India and peace is maintained.

Sudden deaths by counter attacks have killed hundreds and has shattered the lives of those who witnessed them. Those of us, who were lucky enough, who were not present in Mumbai at the time of terror attack will agree with me that a feeling of patriotism with an emotional sync has made a path in their lives. The feeling of doing something different for the nation and waving a goodbye to terror activities has become the top most priority in all of us. Naturally, no one supports the idea of brutally killing innocents.

The work done by our martyrs will be remembered throughout in the coming years. As their sacrifice has made a difference in the lives of those who came out safely. We never know, maybe, even the worst of the things could have happened, but probably their bravery has made a difference.

It is easy to pin point the flaus of the intelligence agencies and the corrupt politicians. But now the time is to think about the future. To recreate the shattered pieces. To start up fresh and build a safe and secure India. The only thing I can say is :
Light a candle for peace,
Light a candle for a better tommorrow,
Light a candle because this light
will help lighting the lives of the saviours and martyrs.
