MY TRAVELLING EXPERIENCES

Of all the memories and experiences I like to cherish, travelling is one of the most life-altering. I do not pursue it as a leisure activity but an opportunity to explore the beauties of nature. Since, I am a nature lover, I look out for those places which are rich in vegetation and scenic beauty. While travelling, I make sure that I let go of myself and try to indulge in the best food and local site seeing. Few of my friends and colleagues prefer to read or take a nap while travelling. But, I am not like them. I instead prefer to sit near the window seat and feel the cool breeze dazzling the trees.

As a young traveller, a fascination to reach out to different landscapes always aroused in my mind. This is probably the reason why I have visited almost all of these including the mountains, plains, deserts, beaches etc. The reason is that even my family likes going places which are beautiful in their own ways. So, booking a holiday comes naturally to me.
I have always liked those cities which are away from noise and have a smooth life. For me, going to a village in my holidays gives me enjoyment and an oppurtunity to share an experience of a lifetime peacefully. I feel travelling gives all of us a break from our monotonous life and keeps our mind relaxed.
In my life I have visited some of the most exotic places, indulged in the best delicacies and met people with varied interests. Of all the places that I have been to in India, my all time favorite is The Andaman Islands. In fact, I often suggest my friends and colleagues to visit them as they are simply magical. From picturesque landscapes to crystal clear beaches, these islands are a 'heavens paradise'. One can relax, enjoy the best adventure sports and can learn their historical importance besides indulging in shopping.
The beaches are beautiful and unique in their own way. They have image droping effect and have the most exquisite coral reefs, aquatic plants and animals. It is a matter of surprise to me when people in their list of the best Indian beaches categorise Goa at the top. If one has to see the image droping view in water, Andaman beaches are the best. Water is full of varied animals and one can even enjoy snookering and scuba diving in it. Apart from that, one can even indulge in the mouth watering sea food which is simply yummy.
Andamans also teach us the story about our national heros. It gives us an indepth understanding on how our freedom struggle is associated with them. The "Kala paani" or the famous Central Jail still holds back the memories and sad stories of the fighters who dedicated their souls in helping India to get its independence. I was thrilled to understand the story that this giude shared with me. I enjoyed the Sound and Light Show in the evening that evoked the feeling of patriortism in me. It was indeed the best vacation for me and completely an enthralling one.
